Just to upload a pic of the squirrel and his nest. Now I have changed my mind. I want this is a she. Hopefully I'll see squirrel babies some time...

Was peacefully sleeping in the warm afternoon...

Woke him/her up when I was trying to have a better view...

Two minutes later another squirrel came and the two are sleeping together in the sun.

Kind of having empty nest syndrome. I'm missing the squirrel when he's out. :)

I'm beginning to worry about the squirrel right outside my window. Really want to see him - I've decided his gender - everyday. He's just back... he's out the whole day.

I was worried whether he's got a car accident or he wanted to move to a new home. Not really paranoid. I saw squirrels got run over all the time.

I'm happy to see him back safe. :)

I couldn't meet the deadline to propose my dissertation proposal last month. Will do it again in April.

I have had squirrels jumping around right in front of my office window for two weeks. One of them has built a little nest right beside my window. I have folders and christmas cards sitting at the bottom of my window. So, the squirrel has some privacy but I can still see him/her sleeping through the gaps of my folders and cards.

My students and I are hoping this is a female squirrel. Then we may be able to see baby squirrels some time. :)

It's amazing to see the squirrels "glow" at sunset. They are up in the trees and the coats shine. :)
