1. Got the APA abstract submitted yesterday. Really want to go to San Diego. :)
2. Need to work on the analyses for a manuscript. My head's spinning. How do I do these plots with separate regression lines for each group in SAS?

Looks like I forgot to put my 2009 goals up here. Hard to think about what I planned to do. But here's what I've done.

1. Graduate fall 2009
Well, got to be August 2010.

2. Travel
Philly and Toronto. Will have a short trip to Colorado Springs this weekend. :)

3. Manuscript
One out in late September. Haven't got reviewers' comments yet.

4. Coursework
All done. Straight As.

5. Dissertation
Still stuck with analyses. Got to get it done next week or so.

6. Scholarship
Got one. v($__$)v

7. Award
Poster award in the aging colloquium

2. Wear a hat to reduce the flickering.

呢D咁的人同事, 做咩要報道呢? 要報道, 寫兩句咪算囉. 日日講. 無第二D野好寫咩. 什麼是新聞價值, 社會責任. 唔駛啦, 買到廣告咪得囉.

忍唔住覺得自己有見地. 十幾年前做左兩個月實習記者, 已經知道此地不宜久留. 要achieve到咁的quality的新聞報道, 難度比要achieve到止於至善更甚.

Haven't had nightmares for a long time... then this really shocking one this early morning. I could feel my adrendaline pumping from my adrenal glands...

I was brushing my teeth and saw two shining eyes down in the drain of the sink. 1. It's a cat! How can this be? 2. It's a ghost. What should I do?

It turned out it's a bunch of rabbits being trapped down in the drain. How did they go down there? They must be put there since when they're so little that they can be flushed down from the sink.

Oh my god. These bunnies grew up in the dark and wet drain?

So, what should I do now? I called the police. But the construction outside the window was so loud and I could barely hear what the police was saying... But I was still trying to be heard.

Then I woke up and my mind flashed with the image of baby tortoises flushing down the toilet.

What a stressful day.

Went hiking in El Dorado last Saturday. It was great fun. Just that my knees were shaking on the way back...

Got to go to the gym and train them better.

Went to Denver to pick up a friend from Amtrak yesterday. Then we went to have dim sum -- my first time in Denver. :)

It was hailing for at least 30 minutes around 1pm. Only got to know today it had several tornadoes touching down in Denver.

I'm beginning to worry about the squirrel right outside my window. Really want to see him - I've decided his gender - everyday. He's just back... he's out the whole day.

I was worried whether he's got a car accident or he wanted to move to a new home. Not really paranoid. I saw squirrels got run over all the time.

I'm happy to see him back safe. :)

I couldn't meet the deadline to propose my dissertation proposal last month. Will do it again in April.

I have had squirrels jumping around right in front of my office window for two weeks. One of them has built a little nest right beside my window. I have folders and christmas cards sitting at the bottom of my window. So, the squirrel has some privacy but I can still see him/her sleeping through the gaps of my folders and cards.

My students and I are hoping this is a female squirrel. Then we may be able to see baby squirrels some time. :)

It's amazing to see the squirrels "glow" at sunset. They are up in the trees and the coats shine. :)
