So I took my roommate to go grocery shopping this morning. Just don't want her to worry about taking the bus etc. It'll snow again tomorrow and Friday...

She said she called home and her mom's crying because she's sick. I have this huge question mark in my head. How can they cry because of getting a cold? Are they strange or am I strange?

She said she's feeling very bad getting a cold. My goodness, how bad can a cold be? She said her joints are aching. OK, it's still a cold. It's just a usual symptom and it will go away in a week. A cold is not good but how can it be very bad compared with so many other things in life?

If I cry because of a cold, how can I face the problems in the world? Or are they coping very well by crying? That I'm having emotional problems because I don't cry?

I want to study in what occasions people cry... What makes people cry?
